Prime Dispatching at the 2025 Midwest Regional Tow Show

Prime Dispatching at the 2025 Midwest Regional Tow Show

Published October 2, 2025

Last week, the Prime Dispatching team made its way to Mason, Ohio—just next door to Kings Island—for the Midwest Regional Tow Show, held at the Great Wolf Lodge convention center. It was a tremendous opportunity to connect with the regional towing community, showcase our 24/7 dispatch and customer service solutions, and soak in the energy of the event.

Why We Attend Tow Shows (and Why You Should, Too)

Trade shows like Midwest Tow Show remain one of the best environments for networking, learning, and demonstrating your value to prospective customers and partners. As a dispatching and customer service solution for tow and roadside assistance operators, Prime Dispatching thrives on direct conversations—with dispatchers, business owners, equipment vendors, and more.

We came in with three goals:

  1. Strengthen relationships with existing towing companies

  2. Meet companies who might be exploring outsourcing dispatch & call answering

  3. Stay current on industry trends and innovations

By the end of the show, we felt those goals were well met.

Highlights & Memorable Moments

Here are a few of the standout experiences from our time in Mason:

  • Meeting regional towing companies
We had many face-to-face conversations with tow staffers from across Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and even Canada. It’s always productive to learn what keeps them up at night (labor costs, staffing, scalability) and to share how Prime Dispatching can help lighten that load. With custom solutions, Prime Dispatching can benefit any company with full 24-hour dispatching or covering only certain shifts to give in-house dispatchers a break. Prime is so confident in our services, we offer a FREE, no obiligation trial of our services so there is nothing for our clients to lose!

  • Friday night Parking Lot Party
A fun, informal gathering outside with live music from the band Ghost Train. It offered a relaxed setting to mingle, swap stories, and strengthen connections beyond the exhibit hall.

  • 50/50 raffle win & supporting a cause
One of our employees won the raffle—and 50% of that went to the Injured Drivers Fund, supporting drivers impacted by accidents. It was gratifying to see our team win and give back at the same time.

  • Light show & truck displays
The parking lot was lit—literally. We toured the array of towing rigs and especially enjoyed the “Light It Up” showcase with trucks flashing their auxiliary lights and custom lighting packages. It brought energy to the lot and drew crowds.

  • Industry-level insights & education
We also attended show seminars and browsed vendor booths to stay abreast of new tools, safety protocols, dispatching technology, tracking solutions, and best practices. Events like this let us make sure we’re offering the most current, competitive services to our partners.

What Set This Show Apart

  • Family‑friendly environment
The Midwest Regional Tow Show is often promoted as a “Family Towing Affair,” offering activities for children so towers can attend the event more freely.

  • Community & cause focus
The show is more than business—it includes recognition, parades (like the “Slow Down / Move Over” awareness parade) and memorial events.

  • Strong regional attendance
Because it’s centrally located in Ohio, attendance draws many operators from surrounding states, maximizing reach for service providers like us.

How Prime Dispatching Fits Into the Bigger Picture

So why does Prime Dispatching show up at events like this? Because what we offer is a solution to a real problem many tow companies face:

  • Staffing a 24/7 call center in-house adds overhead, HR complexity, and risk

  • Outsourcing to a dedicated service like ours lets tow company owners and managers scale without those burdens

  • We can absorb peaks in volume (holidays, storms, nights, weekends) more cost‑effectively

  • Being in front of these towing businesses at these events helps us explain how the system works, answer questions in real time, and build trust

  • Guests who stopped by our booth were offered a FREE trial of our Prime Dispatching services

We also used the show to solicit feedback—what tow companies want, what dispatch pain points haunt them, and what integrations or features would make outsourcing more attractive.

Looking Ahead: Tennessee Tow Show in Chattanooga

We’re already gearing up for our next stop—the Tennessee Tow Show, October 9–11, 2025, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This show is one of the largest regional towing expos in the Southeast and is expected to host about 100 vendors and over 2,400 attendees. Some key features:

  • Training sessions, including hands‑on demos and specialized topics

  • Exhibits open all day (Friday & Saturday)

  • Friday night street party and social events

  • Support from the International Towing Museum, with Hall of Fame and “Wall of the Fallen” ceremonies

We’ll be there with more conversations, demos, and hopefully new partnerships.
